Before you buy

RevX no longer offers the 2 HP DIY bundle; its DIY bundle now ships with a 1.0 HP + WiFi chiller rated for tubs up to 120 gallons. RevX still publishes the 2.0 HP's electrical requirements, and they matter most.

• The 2.0 HP runs on 220V with an 8.3 A maximum draw. It uses a NEMA 6-30R plug and needs a 2-pole 30 A breaker. That is an electrician job, not an extension cord.
• The filtration cabinet still plugs into 110V (X-Flow uses two plugs drawing 3 A combined), so plan for both a 220V circuit and a 110V outlet.
• Range: 34 to 104°F, cooling and heating.
• Clearance: 24 inches in front, 12 inches at the back, sides and top.
• After delivery or any move, let the chiller stand upright for 24 hours before powering it. RevX says skipping this damages it and voids the warranty.
• It needs an external pump, and water should pass a debris screen before it enters the chiller.

Warranty: 1 year from delivery, but only if you register within 30 days by emailing RevX a setup video showing the clearances, water level and connections. Move it later and you owe RevX a new video. The warranty excludes weather exposure beyond the chiller's IP55 rating.
