Before you buy
Tru Grit's page for this tub is still up, but it is marked sold out and the tub no longer appears in Tru Grit's store catalog. Treat it as hard to buy new until Tru Grit restocks it.
- Outside: 60 x 30 x 24 inches. Inside: 52.5 x 24.5 x 23.5 inches.
- Recommended fill: 80 gallons. Inflate to 10 psi.
- Kit: tub, cover, double-action pump, mat, backpack and repair kit, 38 pounds in all.
- Fill and drain ports take most garden hoses.
The tradeoff: there is no chiller or filter, so it is an ice bath unless you add a chiller. Our ice calculator puts 80 gallons from 60°F to 45°F at about 64 pounds of ice. Check the 23.5-inch interior depth against your seated shoulder height.
